1990's Fujigen Japan PP-420 (Cream)

1990's Fujigen Japan PP-420 (Cream)Made in Japan in the mid 1990's, the PP 420 (hilarious model name) was a sleek little guitar seemingly made in very small numbers and sold to the domestic market. Solid body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs just 2. 6kg's. Looks to be all original and was fully serviced prior to listing.

This one came to us with seized switches so it's had all six of them replaced with brand new ones along with some new knobs

these have a beautifully contoured neck heel and are a breeze to play

and three tone controls with master volume are applied via a 6-way rotary switch in the dazzling assortment of pickup settings listed here:

the ST54-100LS was a '54 Reissue Stratocaster with factory Lace Sensor pickups and a Clapton style mid boost circuit

Fender guitars of the late '50s and early '60s borrowed a lot from the "futuristic" automobile designs of the times - think Chevy Impala or Cadillac El Dorado

Seems to be a Korean or Chinese made (no serial on the back of the headstock)

Neck pocket is a little loose

but with the same signal filtering of the classic Tube Screamer

given a full professional Floyd setup and service prior to listing
