One day I was in my kitchen baking bread and it struck me how beautiful the finished bread looked while cooling on a cutting board in the sunlight. As a believer in Christ I was reminded of the scripture found in John 6: 35 where Jesus calls himself the Bread of life. I painted this pumpkin duo in fading light (my favorite) and played with lots of textures
